Tree Hotel

Situated in a forest, near the small northern Swedish town of Harads stands the Treehotel features just five uniquely designed rooms, suspended in amongst the tree canopy.

This unique hotel is eccentric, yet also features stylish Swedish design and comfort. You can choose between The Cabin room, The Mirrorcube, The Bird’s Nest, The Blue Cone or The UFO. If views are what you’re after, then try The Cabin – a modern capsule set high up in the trees, with floor-to-ceiling-windows at the front and large glass panels to the side – affording stunning views of the nearby Lule River.

Or perhaps you’d prefer to blend into your surroundings by sleeping in a giant bird’s nest, perfectly camouflaged by walls of sticks, with a contrasting spacious and sleek interior. If you want something truly different though, try staying the in The UFO room, hovering high above the forest floor and accessed by electrical stairs which are lowered from the ship.

Rooms sleep between 2-4 people and feature bedrooms, living areas and bathrooms. Close by is Britta’s Pensionat open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a 1950’s style vibe. Guests will also benefit from a bar, relaxation area, TV and internet, as well as an indulgent eight person Tree Sauna with hot tub.

With plans to design and build another 24 unique and innovative rooms, you’ll be spoilt for choice at this quirky hotel.
